Also, it had everything you need, including linen, kitchen utensils, and cleaning utensils, and we had a comfortable stay as if we were at home. The small flat was all I needed. It had a second bed and it was in a great part of the city. Simply going out for a walk and suddenly being able to see the Acropolis is invaluable! I found great stores .. 24-hour service, and the best bakery in the world, all within a short walk. I told all my friends they MUST visit Athens, and if they could stay with Nadia, they'd be blessed.

Ano Petralona is a much sought out destination in the heart of Athens, for those seeking an authentic local experience. This elegant family building, built in the 1960’s, is ideally placed steps from the metro station “Petralona”. The space is well maintained, retaining some elements of the original architecture. Since we mainly cater to long term renters, our “less is more” ethos translates into neutral, functional furnishing not to override the guest’s personal taste.

Access to unique roof terrace with urban skyline
Authenic Athenian living includes extending daily life onto the roof terrace. Tenants enjoy a large thoughtfully designed shared terrace over two levels, that includes a dining/work-top area and comfortable chaise longues. Breathtaking views of the urban cityscape extend beyond Petralona, towards snow topped mountains that frame Athens. An occaisional wave to other building rooftop neighbours establishes your locality and sense of Petralonianism.

We focus on long‑term rentals, which creates a comfortable sense of familiarity among neighbours. A community tool is also available to encourage trust and mutual support when needed. Feeling connected and safe is our priority - for both our renters and ourselves.
Your Questions, Answered
How does it work?
We begin with a simple online form to understand your requirements and preferred timelines. Within 48 hours, we check for availability and in the case of no availability for your full period in a single preferred home, we may offer combo alternatives within the same building. We aim for flexibility and solutions. Viewings cannot take place if the apartments are occupied.
What about utilities, service fees and wifi costs?
Utilities (electricity, water and gas where applicable), are included in your rental package at fair usage of course. We provide guidance on how to use the ACs and appliances for economic power consumption. Buiding service fees are also included. Shared building WIFI (optic fibre) is provided free to our rentees.
What should I expect regarding contracts, payments and invoicing?
After agreeing on availablity, scope of time, and rent, we provide an official e-gov rental contract outlining deposits, timelines, and payment schedules. Documents required would be an official ID/passport and AFM for Greek citizens. This transparent process ensures you know exactly what to expect before moving forward.
Are pets allowed?
Even though we absolutely love animals, we have a strict no pets policy, in consideration to other renters who may suffer allergies.
Is smoking allowed?
This is a strictly non-smoking building i.e. no smoking in the private and common building spaces especially inside the apartment. If you choose to smoke, you may do so on the roof itself or on the balconeys and of-course always dispose of cigarette remains responsibly.
